We're a small family operation, so rather than a wall of trim levels you get five clear sizes. Every one of them is regularly serviced, comprehensively insured and comes with unlimited mileage.
The one we hand over most often to couples staying in Sliema or St Julian's. Short enough to slot into the gaps everyone else drives past, cheap enough to run that you stop thinking about fuel.

Good for
Five proper doors and a boot that swallows a week's luggage, without becoming a handful on the narrow stretch into Mdina. If you're not sure what to book, book this.

Good for
A raised driving position, an easier step in and out, and a better view over Malta's stone walls — all in a footprint that still behaves in Valletta's back streets.

The most space on our lot. Four adults, their bags, the beach kit and the cool box — with enough left over for whatever you buy at Marsaxlokk market.
Citroën C3 Aircross or similar
Good for
Park anywhere, feel the sea air on the coast road, and cover the north of the island in an afternoon. Running costs are almost nothing — an A1, A2 or A licence is required.
